Similar to WAEC, your National Examination Council (NECO) result (certificate) is valid for life. It doesn't have any expiry date. That is, for as long as you live, you can use your NECO result to gain admission into the university and seek employment where applicable.
Students with good WAEC result can enroll into universities abroad and most institutions in abroad offers admissions to students with WAEC results as long as they agree to undertake a foundation course.
WAEC Scratch cards can also be purchased at the National Office of WAEC and at any of its zonal and branch offices across Nigeria. It may also be bought from any of the branch offices of Fountain Trust Bank Plc across Nigeria.
B3 is B (Very Good), C4 is C (Good), C5 and C6 are (Credit), D7 and E8 are E (Pass) and F9 is F (Fail).
C6 (50-54%), C5 (55-59%) and C4 (60-64%) are credit grades. B3 (65-69%) is a Good grade. B2 (70-74%) is a Very Good grade. A1 (75-100%) is an Excellent grade.

Under the new WAEC grading system, A1 is Excellent, B2 Very Good, B3 Good, C4, C5 and C6 are interpreted as Credit, D7 and D8 are interpreted as Pass, while F9 is Fail.
